About the Training

YEAH! trainings take place over the course of the day and provide an opportunity to learn about HIV and AIDS; how it affects our community; how we can reduce the risks of contracting or spreading HIV; and how we can support our friends who may be infected with HIV. We promise that the training will be interactive, engaging, and a good time. Plus, you will be with other leaders, who like yourself, want to make a difference!!!

The next Training will be held on December 15, 2012 from 9am-6pm – Click HERE for more info!

After the training, you’ll be a certified YEAH! Peer Leader for HIV education, and you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an on-going group with other youth leaders.

To participate in the next YEAH! training, you must:

  • Identify as a gay, bisexual, or queer male
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 24
  • Be ready to empower yourself and your community!
